Who are we?

Welcome to Macon Direct Catering! We are an Irish family business dedicated to helping takeaways and small restaurants reduce the costs of running their business by offering catering disposables and food packaging at more affordable prices while being eco-friendly.

Our mission

We believe that businesses should be able to make environmentally responsible choices without breaking the bank. We understand that small businesses often operate on tight margins, (especially in 2023) which is why we have sourced a range of catering disposables and food packaging that are both affordable and sustainable. 

The problem we discovered that kept us up at night...

We understood the food service industry can take a toll on the environment and we were confused as to why small businesses weren't making the switch to eco-friendly options.

We talked to multiple small restaurants and takeaways to understand why they found it hard to become more sustainable and eco-friendly. We found that many businesses were reluctant to invest in eco-friendly alternatives due to the potentially higher price point. With inflation and increasing gas prices, many small businesses are struggling to make ends meet. The idea of paying more for sustainable food packaging and catering disposables can seem like an unnecessary expense.

We knew there had to be a better way

So, we set out to source cheaper, higher quality, and sustainable alternatives that could benefit both the environment and a business's bottom line.

After conducting extensive research and partnering with reputable suppliers, we were able to source a range of affordable, eco-friendly products that met our high standards for sustainability and performance. We were thrilled to be able to offer these products to small businesses in Ireland, allowing them to make a positive impact on the environment while also saving money.
