Why does the cup say "contains plastic" if it composts?

EU law requires that label on any PLA-lined cup. The Single-Use Plastics Directive counts PLA as a plastic because of how it is made, even though it comes from plant starch and is certified compostable to EN 13432. Both statements on the cup are true at once.

Is there really nothing added at checkout?

No. The total on this page is goods plus 23% VAT plus the flat €15 delivery. That is the figure your card is charged.

Do I need an account or a minimum order?

Neither. One box is a perfectly normal order.

When does it arrive?

Five working days anywhere in Ireland. We would rather quote five and hit it than promise next day and miss.

What if the lid does not fit?

Send it back and we will sort it. The rim diameter is printed on every listing so it should not happen.
